I simply do not understand how anyone can give this place more than 2 stars. The salad was wilted, the Cesar dressing tasted old and odd, I have never seen beef the color that was served. The pasta was good actually but that did not make up for the rest of the meal. As far as the condition of the facility the bar was dirty, the ceilings required work, and the overall condition of the establishment cried out for attention and a good cleaning. We will not be back sadly. Staff was very slow as well.
As a European customer, I can say that many European restaurants should take a leaf out of this restaurant. The meal was perfectly cooked and the ingredients were fresh. Very good job from the cook, not to mention the friendly waiter.
The lemonade was so bad, it wanted to make me hurl. I strongly recommend to not purchase this putrid drink. The sweetness is overwhelming, you might as well be ordering a gallon of sugar water. Food was good but the lemonade needs to get fixed or taken off the menu
Showed up around 6:30 on Saturday. Came in through the front door, after parking along the street. The place was pretty full. There was a little desk there that looked like a host/hostess station, so we waited a minute, and it became clear that there was no host or hostess there to help us, all while the locals watched us and gave us funny looks but no offer to help. We went to the bar and asked the bartender, and he directed us to the back. Got there and realized there is another entrance in the back, and a server station there. Stood there and were ignored by at least 3 different servers until we asked one of them if we could get a table. As we waited for the table, we overheard staff talking about other tables, seeming stressed that they weren't leaving in a timely manner. Once we were seated, the waitress was very friendly and knew the beer list, and our pizza was pretty good and served quickly despite how busy they were. If it wasn't for the weird townie vibe at first, I would have enjoyed it a lot more.
One of our favorite places. Great environment. Tasty food. We usually go for steak or pizza and it's always been really good. Always received good service too.
