My all time favorite restaurant. Gourmet food at everyday prices. Doesn't matter what you order, you will be very pleased. The soups are fantastic. Always new specials each day. Go early on weekends. My only criticism is it is small so it can be loud. But then the cheerfulness of the patrons is contagious.
Arrived around 5 on a Sunday in December. Was greeted right away by the hostess and taken right to a table. Dining room is small and a little loud, but charming in an unassuming Up North way. Waiter was excellent and food was very good, with very large portions. We had the whitefish cakes, which were moist and flaky and delicious. Then a full bowl of cream of broccoli, which was also very good. Old fashioneds were good, and the main courses of polenta parmesan and shrimp scampi salad were also very good. Drinks were refilled promptly, meal was paced well, and I left fat and happy.
This place was amazing! Great food at a reasonable price! We we're so happy we stopped in!
